Borussia Dortmund beat Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday (03/05/2013), thanks to goals from Felipe Santana, Mario Goetze and Jakub Blaszczykowski. This victory makes Dortmund qualified for the quarter-finals with a 5-2 aggregate advantage. With a 2-2 result in the first leg at home to Shakhtar, Dortmund actually only need a draw 0-0 or 1-1 to qualify for the quarter-finals. However, Dortmund still appear publicly attacked Signal-Iduna Park, their home turf.


Dominating from the start, Dortmund tried to dismantle the Shakhtar defense from all sides. However, Shakhtar are more likely to survive are able to reduce any stress to the host.
