El Real is less able to perform optimally following the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo and had to play ten players since the 76th minute. These results make Madrid locked in third place, which stood at 37 points, 15 points adrift of Barca at the top. However, Madrid have left further and further if Barca beat Malaga, Sunday (13/01/2013). As a result Osasuna moved from the bottom of the standings to the position 19.

Cristiano Ronaldo to be absent due to undergo punishment. Ronaldo's absence is a big loss for Madrid. Because the Portuguese player has scored five goals in his last two games as well as play an important role gives victory. Coach Jose Mourinho and then select the order of Gonzalo Higuain to fill Ronaldo. In order to support the performance of Higuain in attack, Mourinho lose Sami Khedira, Xabi Alonso, Jose Callejon, and Angel Di Maria.

Without Ronaldo, Real Madrid look pretty hard at least look at the first 15 minutes in which Madrid was able to create a dangerous threat to Osasuna goalkeeper Andres Fernandez escorted. These conditions did not change until the threat created by the action of Madrid Fabio Coentrao in the 34th minute. However, Coentrao feed to Higuain in the penalty box can still be disposed opposing players. A few minutes later, Callejon nearly scored, unfortunately his header bounced over the crossbar Osasuna.

Madrid tried to improve his game in the five minutes before the break. However, efforts Iker Casillas and his friends can not bear fruit until the referee blew the whistle breaks. Statistics noted, Madrid controlled the game for around 49 per cent. They were only able to release four shots without a single lead to the goal. The Osasuna look more dominant with off five shots though none on target. Madrid still seems hard to develop his game in the second round. Coach Jose Mourinho tried to overcome this impasse by changing formation. He played Benzema, Kaka and Mesut Oezil, replacing Di Maria, Higuain, and Modric.

However, efforts to win Madrid heavier because they have to play with ten men since the 76th minute. Kaka had left the field after receiving a second yellow card due to obstructing Osasuna player when trying to perform a free kick. Three minutes later, Callejon scored. However, the goal was disallowed because Callejon was trapped offiside first. The situation has not changed. Both teams had difficulty making opportunity, let alone score. Until the fight was over, the score goalless unchanged.
